Food Security Is Becoming a National Power Tool

Food security used to be discussed mostly in terms of hunger, harvests, and household budgets. Those still matter deeply, of course. But today, grain reserves, fertilizer access, water security, and export capacity are also tools of national power. The farm gate has found itself connected to the foreign ministry, whether it asked for the promotion or not.
